Back in February 2010, I visited a few of the temples, shrines and castles found on the registry of places that make up the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The reflections on the water at the Temple of the Golden Pavilion were particularly spectacular that day.
